Wildcats Remain Undefeated With Win At Scott

The 3rd ranked (Class AA) Logan Wildcats moved to 6-0 on the season as they picked up a nice road win over the Scott Skyhawks, 63-47, on Friday.

The Wildcats came out of the gate and took a 17-12 lead at the end of the opening period. Logan edged out a little further in the second quarter to hold a 26-20 lead at the intermission.

Logan took full control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Skyhawks 22-11 in the period to take a 48-31 advantage. From there, they maintained the lead to get the win.

McCormick Ilderton paced the Wildcats with 15 points. Ivan Miller had 12 points, 19 rebounds and 2 blocks. Lucas Lambert also fired in 12 points. Zayden Sherrod followed with 11 points and pulled down 7 boards. Gage Green finished with 2 points.

Scott (3-4) was led by Tyler Walls with 13 points. Walls also left the game in the second quarter and did not return. Colin Williamson followed with 10 points.

Logan is set to play on Friday against 2nd ranked Williamstown at home. Scott is next scheduled to play Poca on Tuesday.
