The Phelps Lady Hornets finished as runner-up in the Girls Big H BBQ Christmas Bash at Cherokee High School in Rogersville, TN. After going 2-1 in the tournament, the Lady Hornets are now 9-2 on the season.

Caleigh McCoy led the Lady Hornets with 34 points and 5 rebounds. Kaylyn Slone followed with 11 points and 5 boards. Kylea Weddington had 5 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Madison Dotson scored 4 points. Bailey Norman and Charity Mounts added 3 points each. Aerionna Pigman finished with 2 points.

McCoy once again led the Lady Hornets with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Weddington had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Slone scored 12 points and snagged 9 rebounds. Pigman had 8 points. Katie Yates had 5 points and 5 rebounds. Norman added 5 points. Mounts finished with 3 points.

Phelps – 50
Weddington paced the Lady Hornets with 17 points. McCoy followed with 15 points. Dotson had 4 points. Mounts scored 3 points. Norman and Pigman finished with 2 points each.
For their efforts, McCoy, Weddington and Slone were named to the All-Tournament team.
The Lady Hornets will next play on January 3rd when they travel to Pike County Central.
