The Floyd Central Jaguars moved to 3-0 on the season as they picked up a 70-60 home win over the Magoffin County Hornets (1-2) on Saturday in a throwback game. Floyd Central played in South Floyd Raiders jerseys, bringing back some wonderful memories for those in attendance.
Freshman Wesley Buck led the way with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Dylan Boyd followed with 15 points. Eighth grader Lucas Howard added 11 points and 6 rebounds. James Samons had 8 points and 6 rebounds. Chris Spriggs tallied 6 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Logan Meade registered 3 points and pulled down 7 rebounds. Christian Johnson finished with 2 points.
The Jaguars will next play at Betsy Layne on Friday at 7:30 pm.
Magoffin County will host Morgan County on Monday at 7:30 pm.
