The Raceland Rams (8-4) are looking for another trip to the 1A semifinals, but the Hazard Bulldogs (8-4) stand in the way and are looking for revenge. The two teams clash with a chance to move on in Raceland on Friday.
The Rams, coached by Michael Salmons, are coming off a convincing 41-13 win over Eminence in the second round. Raceland defeated Hazard, 42-8, earlier this season.
For the Rams, Jacob Walker will run the offense. This season, Walker has completed 107-of-146 passes for 1,261 yards, 11 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
Shannon Marushi will lead a strong and balanced rushing attack with 377 yards and 11 touchdowns on 80 carries.

Hazard, coached by Matthew Chandler, enter the game after rolling past Williamsburg, 56-8, in the second round of the playoffs.
Star quarterback Max Pelfrey will lead the show for the Bulldogs. Pelfrey has completed 190-of-295 passes for 2,413 yards, 26 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He also has 11 rushing touchdowns.
Memphis Blankenship powers the ground game. So far, Blankenship has 226 carries for 997 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Gavin Johnson is one of the best receivers in the Mountains and gives Pelfrey a great target. This season, Johnson has 85 catches for 1,069 yards and 13 touchdowns.
