The Tolsia Rebels bounced back into the win column on Friday night as they picked up a 41-0 win on the road over the Van Bulldogs.
Tolsia (4-2) was led by the talented Robert Evans who completed 2-of-3 passes for 54 yards and carried the ball 16 times for 188 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns.
Luke Williamson completed 2-of-4 passes for 26 yards while carrying the ball 5 times for 25 yards and 1 rushing touchdown.
Bray Mollette had 6 carries for 34 yards. Dakota Blackburn had 3 carries for 34 yards.
Zach Ratliff caught a pass for 45 yards. John Jarrell had 2 receptions for 22 yards. Blackburn caught 1 pass for 13 yards.
Defensively, Jarrell led the Rebels with 9 tackles. Blackburn and Greyson Golden each had an interception.
The Rebels are projected to be ranked 16th in the next Class A rankings and will play an important game at Buffalo on Friday. With Buffalo being Class AA and having 3 wins, it would be a lot of points for Tolsia in the playoff chase.
