Mingo Central (2-2), coached by David Jones, had last week’s game with Point Pleasant canceled after the school lost power due to storms. The Miners defeated Man, 30-7, the week before.
The athletic Aidan Burke is both a threat in the rushing and passing game. He completed 8-of-15 passes for 43 yards and 1 touchdown.
Dylan Vance leads the Miners’ ground game. Two weeks ago, he had 19 carries for 115 yards and 1 touchdown. Jace “Bam” Coleman also adds a powerful rushing option. Against Man, he had 83 yards and 1 touchdown on 6 carries.
Mingo Central has several talented players who can help in the passing game. Keziah Joplin, Donavon Valdelamar and Jacob Maynard will all give Miners contributions.
This will be a big game that you won’t want to miss. The winner will have a leg up in the race for the Class AA playoffs. Be there!
