When Middlesboro decided not to play the Shelby Valley Wildcats this weekend, they went looking for a replacement opponent. The Eastern Eagles out of Reedsville, OH stepped up in what should be a great match up on Saturday at 7 pm at Shelby Valley.
The Wildcats (0-3), coached by Tyler Johnson, are looking to get their first win of the season after losing to three strong opponents.
Versatile quarterback Brady Johnson leads Shelby Valley. Johnson his having a great start so far this season for the Wildcats. Johnson will look to put up some yards with his arm and legs.
Peyton Combs and Clark Craft will look to help the Wildcats in the ground game.
Look for Kolton Stamper, Brett Sturgill and Bryce Bentley to be big weapons for Johnson in the passing game as Shelby Valley tries to get its first win.
Eastern (3-0) will look to remain unbeaten as it rolls into the Mountains.
The Eagles have a stable of talented running backs that will be a key to the game. Treyvon Rembert, Tyler Hill and Lance Hensler have all racked up the the yardage this season.
The Eastern defense is also very good, allowing only 10.0 points per game this season.
