The Westside Renegades jumped out all over the Wyoming East Warriors in the first quarter and never looked back as they cruised to a 59-6 win in front of the home crowd in Clear Fork on Friday night.
The Renegades put their stamp on the game from the get go, scoring 38 points in the first quarter. Kadien Vance got it all going by throwing a 4-yard touchdown pass to Kyler Kenneda. Vance then scored on a conversion run to make the score 8-0. Vance then scored on a 2-yard touchdown run and threw conversion pass to Coltin Lester to make the score 16-0. Vance threw another touchdown pass shortly after when he connected with Braxton Waldron on a 15-yard score.Vance then threw a conversion pass to Austin Bishop to make the score 24-0. Vance then found Kenneda again, this time on a 71-yard scoring strike. Kevin Mitchell’s conversion run made it a 32-0 Renegade advantage. Vance then found Bishop on a 5-yard touchdown pass to make it a 38-0 game after the first period.
Westside continued its onlsaught in the second quarter as Vance found Coltin Lester on a 10-yard touchdown pass to increase the advantage to 44-0. Vance then scored on a rushing touchdown from 35 yards out. Bishop’s PAT kick made the score 51-0 at the half.
Bradyn Waldron scored on a 30-yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter. He then added the conversion run as well to increases Westside’s lead to 59-0.
Wyoming East scored a touchdown late.
Vance had a fantastic game, completing 9-of-10 passes for 200 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also carried the ball 6 times for 64 yards and 2 touchdowns. He finished with 7 total touchdowns and only played in the first half.
Bradyn Waldron was 2-of-8 passing for 26 yards. He also had 3 carries for 28 yards and 1 touchdown.
Coltin Lester had 1 carry for 43 yards. Cole Cline had 2 carries for 19 yards. Jaeden Lester added 17 yards on 3 rushing attempts. Mitchell had 1 carry for 7 yards. Noah Ellis finished with 3 yards on 1 carry.
Kenneda caught 3 passes for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. Braxton Waldron had 2 catches for 35 yards and 1 touchdown. Jake Cline caught 1 pass for 21 yards. Coltin Lester had 2 catches for 15 yards and 1 touchdown. Jace Repass had 1 catch for 15 yards. Zane Cook had 1 reception for 6 yards. Bishop finished with 1 catch for 5 yards and 1 touchdown.
The Renegades will now host Mingo Central on Friday in a huge battle.
