It will be a clash of the titans in Pikeville at 8:30 pm on Saturday night as the home standing Pikeville Panthers host the Johnson Central Golden Eagles at Hambley Athletic Complex.

Pikeville, coached by Chris McNamee come into the game after losing to 4A powerhouse Corbin, 22-7, on the road in the first week of the season.
Isaac Duty will look to have a big day after completing 10-of-19 passes for 164 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
The Panthers will also lean on the legs of Brenden Anthony who had 101 yards on 11 carries last week.
Pikeville will look for big contributions in the receiving game. Last week, Cole Slone caught 3 passes for 83 yards and 1 touchdown. Bradyn Hall hauled in 6 catches for 79 yards.
Johnson Central is coached by Jesse Peck and rolls into Pikeville after falling at Madison Central, 25-14, during the first week of the season.
The Golden Eagles rolled up 311 yards on the ground in the loss, led by Logan Music’s 92 yards on 10 carries. Zack McCoart carried the ball 13 times for 72 yards and 1 touchdown. Christian Barnes added 58 yards on 12 carries. Braxton Perry racked up 53 yards and 1 touchdown on 3 rushing attempts.
