Hillbillies Travel To Logan For Clash with Wildcats

The Logan Wildcats are set to begin a new era on Thursday night by welcoming an old foe as the Man Hillbillies invade Willis-Nisbet Stadium in Logan.

The Wildcats, under first-year head coach Brandon Adkins, will try to avenge last season’s 35-7 loss to the Hillbillies. Logan comes into the game with with a lot of enthusiasm for the season.

Logan returns quarterback Adam Baisden to lead what appears to be a potent Wildcat offense. He’ll have a lot of weapons to utilize.

The Wildcat backfield will feature returners Cross Conn and Caden Justice. Along with Baisden, they should give Logan a solid ground attack.

Logan will feature a talented receiving corps that features Zayden Sherod, Kieran Tolliver, Chance Lewis, Gage Green, as well as Conn and Justice.

Man, coached by Harvey Arms, would like to do nothing more than beat their county rivals once again.

The Hillbillies return quarterback Devon Sanders to run the offense. He will look to help man rack up the points once again this season.

Kaleb Mullins and Dusten Baisden return to give the Man offense a fantastic duo in the backfield.

The dynamic Trey Ward will return as Sanders’ top receiving target. Last season, Ward had 4 touchdown receptions, 4 interception returns for touchdowns, 2 punt return touchdowns and 1 kickoff return touchdown.

This is a game that will have the attention of Logan County and southern West Virginia. Who will come out on top in this old and heated rivalry?
