The OPB Swish moved to 4-2 on the season with a 104-69 win over the Atlanta Angels on Saturday at Martin County High School in Inez.
The Swish jumped out early and took a 31-18 lead over Atlanta after the opening period. The advantage grew to 59-34 at the intermission.
OPB extended its lead to 79-52 after three quarters before stretching it out for the dominating win.
Carla Booth paced the Swish with 23 points, JaVonna Layfield followed with 16 points. Kennedi Stacy added 13 points. Dasia Thornton fired in 11 points. Makayla Epps and Taylor Pearson scored 10 points each.E’moni Washington fired in 6 points. Courtney Gillman-Fletcher scored 5 points. Ri-Chiel McGraw netted 4 points. Victoria Dunlap finished with 2 points.
The Swish will now hit the road for a contest at the Gastonia Greyhounds on August 18th.
