Huntington Expression Prep Middle School Team Off To A Great Start

Huntington Expression Prep’s middle school team has been playing well in 7-on-7 action this Summer. The Lions recently racked up three big wins at Barboursville. The Lions outscored their opponents 64-6 in three games at the event.

“We weren’t crisp, but we have 3/4 of our team either playing basketball or travel football,” said Huntington Expression Prep head coach Adam Hill. “Our head coach Jordan Masterson and the kids just won the 13U national championship in Canton, OH in June. So with how much adversity and lack of practice we’ve had it’s impressive that the kids go out and gel they way they do.

“We have played six 7v7 games and have outscored opponents,135-34 overall. We were 3-0 tonight, beating Barboursville, Milton and Hayes Middle School. We are building something special. We still have some spots available.”

This is a great start to the season for the new Huntington Expression Prep program. It will be fun to see just how they grow.
