Betsy Layne football star Tye Isom will have quite the experience later this year. Isom will play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
Isom, who was chosen to play at linebacker, helped lead Betsy Layne to a remarkable season as a junior as the Bobcats finished with a 10-2 record. On the season, he had 83 tackles and 2 sacks.
Currently, he’s receiving a lot of interest as 18 colleges are currently giving him some looks, and playing in games like this will only help him open more doors.

In the classroom, Isom also gets the job done. He has a 3.5 GPA. He is also a member of the Betsy Layne Free Will Baptist Church.
Playing the game at the home of the Dallas Cowboys and having it broadcast on ESPN is a big deal for a young man who started playing football in the third grade.
Congratulations to Tye on this amazing achievement.
The Blue-Grey All-American Bowl is scheduled for December 16th at 2 pm EST.
