On Thursday, the track and field stars of the D&D Sports Network coverage area converged on the University of Kentucky track and field complex to compete in Class 1A state tournament. They were led by Raceland’s Sophie Maynard who walked away as an individual state champion in the 300 Meter Hurdle and Leslie County Girls team won the state title in the 4 x 100 Meter Relay and the 4 x 200 Meter Relay.
