The Logan Lady Wildcats had a convincing win in the sectional tournament, 15-1, over the host Wayne Lady Pioneers in five innings on Wednesday.
Harlee Quick led the Lady Wildcats with 2 doubles, 2 singles and 4 RBIs. Myleigh Adkins had 3 singles and 2 RBIs. Isabella Propst had 3 singles and 1 RBI. Taylor Noe Collected 2 singles and 4 RBIs. Kaylie Coleman added 2 singles 3 RBIs. Ashlin Brumfield and Lacy Curry each had a double, a single and 1 RBI. Addison Brumfield added 2 singles. Lauren Adkins finished with a single.
For Wayne, Kylee Copley had a solo home run.
Charlie Albright got the win in the pitcher’s circle after just allowing 1 run on one hit while striking out 4 batters over 5 innings pitched. Averi Napier finished with a loss.
Logan advances in the Winner’s Bracket and will face Chapmanville on Thursday. Wayne will now fall into the Loser’s Bracket and faces Scott on Thursday.
