The Scott Skyhawks scored in the bottom of the 6th inning as they defeated the visited Logan Wildcats, 7-6, on Friday in West Madison.
Hunter Woodrum scored the winning error on a Logan error to break open a 6-6 tie and give the Skyhawks a huge win.
Luke Knight had a single, a double and 2 runs scored for Scott. Hayden Johnson had a solo home run and 1 RBI. Kedron Elkins had a double and 1 RBI. Jason Ferrell added a single and 1 RBI. Austin Light and Nick Miller also had singles in the win.
For Logan, Ivan Miller had a single, a double and 2 RBIs. Adam Baisden had 2 singles. Jayce Wolfe recorded a double. Jaxon McClung had a single and 2 RBIs. Rob Ball had a single and 1 RBI. Alton Ellis added a single.
Carter McClung got the win on the mound for the Skyhawks after allowing 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 3 batters over 2 innings pitched. Cross Conn got the loss for Logan.
