Three Pike County Central players hit home runs as the Hawks defeated the home standing Betsy Layne Bobcats, 21-4, in five innings on Tuesday.
Cameron Shearer had 1 home run, 2 singles and 4 RBIs in the win. Warren Newsome had a double, 2 singles and 4 RBIs. Blake Hager added a home run, 2 sings and 1 RBI. Trevor Holbrook had a home run, a single and 3 RBIs. Caleb Mouton had a single and 3 RBIs. Brody Coleman recorded a double.
Jonah Hicks got the win on the mound after allowing 1 run on 4 hits while striking out 7 batters over 4 innings pitched.
The Hawks are scheduled to play at East Ridge on Tuesday.
