Noe’s Walk Off Homer Gives Lady Wildcats Dramatic Win Over Rival Chapmanville

Taylor Noe crushed a two-run homer to center field in the bottom of the 7th inning as the 3rd ranked (Class AA) Logan Lady Wildcats defeated the 2nd ranked (Class AA) Chapmanville Lady Tigers, 2-0, on Tuesday in Logan.

Kayleigh Coleman led off the bottom of the 7th inning with single. Noe then stepped to the plate and smacked a home run to break the scoreless tie and end the game.

Addison Brumfield also had a single for the Lady Wildcats.

Hannah Milller and Erica Sigmon each had a single for the Lady Tigers.

Myleigh Adkins picked up the win for Logan by allowing only 2 hits over 7 innings while striking out 9 batters. Chloe Murphy got the loss for Chapmanville after allowing only 2 runs on 3 hits while striking out 12 batters.

Logan is scheduled to face Saint Marys on Friday. Chapmanville is scheduled to host top ranked Herbert Hoover on Wednesday.
