The Hazard Lady Bulldogs moved to 11-0 on the season as they defeated Wolfe County, 4-2, on Wednesday in the 14th Region All A Classic at Perry County Central.
For Hazard, Heidi Jones had a single, a double and 1 RBI. Braylynn Eddington had a single, a double and 1 run scored. Kaydence Stollings added a double and 1 RBI. Mikayla Shepherd recorded a double and 1 run scored. Peyton Fields had a single and run scored. Ryleigh Griffith added a single.
Fields also got the win in the pitcher’s circle by allowing only 1 earned run on 2 hits while striking out 9 batters over 7 innings pitched.
Hazard will face Lee County on Friday in the 14th Region All A semifinals at Leslie County.
