Tug Valley’s Austin Smith threw a perfect game, allowing no runners to get on base, while striking out 9 batters in the Panthers’ 11-0 win at Van on Wednesday.
Tug Valley took advantage of 8 Van errors and was led by Austin Smith at the plate with a single, a triple, 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. Zachary Hall had a double and 1 RBI. Dakota Ooten recorded a single, 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Julian Vance added a single and 3 runs scored. Conner Lackey had 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Ashton Smith finished with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Gage Whitt had a single. Chandler Copley scored a run.
The Panthers will face Point Pleasant on Friday.
