The Perry County Central Lady Commodores moved to 13-3 on the season as they picked up a win at South Laurel, 15-3, on Monday.
Lauren Morris led the way with a double, 3 singles, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Ashlyn Dixon had a double, 2 singles, 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. Kaitlyn Grigsby recorded a double, 2 singles and 2 RBIs. Jossie Mullins had 2 singles, 3 RBIs and 1 run scored. Alyssa Dixon had 2 singles and 2 runs scored. Averie Ratliff recorded a single and 1 run scored. Kyra McAlarnis had 1 RBI and scored 3 runs.
Grigsby got the win in the pitcher’s circle by allowing 3 runs on 8 hits over 5 innings pitched while striking out 2 batters.
Perry County Central will play at Lexington Catholic on Friday.
