Wesley Christian has been selected by the Grind Session Committee to participate in the league’s premiere showcase games on Tanger Sports.
The Circuit Riders will play against some of the very best teams in the nation, including defending Grind Session champions Prolific Prep Academy. Prolific Prep Academy has been featured in games on ESPN.
Wesley Christian will compete in events in Las Vegas, Colorado, Tennessee, Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Puerto Rico along with other events. The Circuit Riders will compete in 10-of-15 Grind Session Events nationally. Wesley Christian will return most of its team that won the NACA Division 2 National Championship this season.
“I’m extremely thankful they have given us the opportunity to compete a full season with them,” said Wesley Christian head coach Shawn Ward. “We had a trial run this past season in a few of their events, and we competed and won a few games. I told the younger guys that if we showcase what we have it will set us up better in the future. And when I got that call, it felt like everything me and Pastor Ken had talked about and planned is finally coming together for Wesley Christian. The opportunity these kids are going to get now is huge. This is one of the biggest leagues in America, and we get the opportunity to go and compete with the very best.”
Wesley Christian’s schedule will be released at a later date, but this is a big deal for the Circuit Riders.
