The top-ranked (Class AAA) Logan Lady Wildcats defeated Jeffersontown, KY, 15-1, on Friday in Myrtle Beach in five innings.
Harlee Quick had a huge game for Logan, with a single, double and 4 RBIs. Isabella Propst had a triple, two singles and 3 RBIs. Addison Brumfield had three singles and 1 RBI. Taylor Noe and Emilee Mullins added 2 singles and 1 RBI each. Myleigh Adkins recorded a double and 1 RBI. Kaylie Coleman, Lauren Adkins and Ashlin Brumfield all recorded singles.
Quick got the win in the pitcher’s circle, allowing no runs and 2 hits while striking out 6 batters in 2 innings pitched.
Logan will next play on Monday by battling Scot on the road.
