The Chapmanville Tigers jumped ahead early and never looked back as they throttled the Poca Dots, 15-6, on Wednesday at home in Chapmanville.
Andrew Topping led the Tigers by going 4-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs. Andrew Farley had a double, single and 2 runs scored. Gunner Lucas had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Joey Canterbury had 1 single and 2 RBIs. Braylon Moore had a single and 1 RBI. AJ Motto finished with a single.
Canterbury got the start in the winning effort, pitching for 3.2 innings while allowing 4 earned runs on 4 hits while striking out 3 batters. Farley pitched 1.2 innings and only allowed 1 run on 2 hits while recording 1 strike out.
Chapmanville will next play on Friday when it hosts Oak Hill.
