The Scott Skyhawks picked up a home win on Monday as they defeated the Mingo Central Miners, 14-1.
Carter McClung drove in five runs on two doubles. Jason Ferrell had two hits, including a double with 2 RBIs. Austin Light had one double. Louden White added two singles. Hayden Johnson got a single and drove in two runs. Nick Miller had a single and 1 RBI. Ryan Neal had a single.
Dylan Vance and Dylan Mounts each had 1 hit for the Miners.
Neal got the win after allowing only 1 run on 2 hits over 3 innings. He also struck out 4 batters.
Vance got the loss for the Miners on the mound.
Scott is scheduled to travel to Chapmanville on Tuesday. Mingo Central is set to play at Belfry on Tuesday.
