Haleigh Muncy drove in 8 runs as the Tug Valley Lady Panthers picked up a 25-5 win on the road over Martin County on Monday.
Muncy was 5-of-6 at the plate with 3 doubles and a home run. Bailee Hall was 4-of-4 with 3 RBIs. Tailyn Russell was 3-of-5 with a home run and 3 RBIs. Amelya Wellman had 3 doubles and 2 RBIs. Jessica Spaulding had a double, triple and 1 RBI. Hailey Newsome had a triple and 5 runs scored. Makenna Osborne and Aleksah Osborne had 2 hits each. Laura Spaulding and Megan Griffey each had a hit.
For Martin County, Alyssa Mullins drove in 2 runs. Kaylee Endicott had 1 RBI. Raegan Horn, Bella Muncy and Haley Robinson each had hits for Martin County.
Hall got the win in the circle, allowing only 3 earned runs over 6 innings pitched with 11 strike outs. Mullins was given the loss.
Tug Valley is next scheduled to play on Wednesday when Van comes to Naugatuck. Martin County will host Knott County Central on Friday.
