Grant Hall, class of 2027, is a dynamic athlete that can impact the game on both ends of the court. Hall is known for his lock down defense that he truly takes pride in. Hall is also a knock down shooter when left open. Confident in his shooting ability and his high-level basketball IQ, Hall picks and choses his spots to make it rain.

Hall is crafty with nice handles who attacks the rim off the bounce with an uncanny ability to score in the lane over bigger defenders. Hall strives on turning defense into offense runs the break well and drops sweet dimes in transition.

Last season as a freshman, Hall averaged 9 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals per game. He played a crucial role in the Hawks securing the 3-peat in winning the 60th District championship.

Hall is continually working on his game. He really stepped up his game coming into his freshman season. The focus was to improve his outside shooting. Coming into the season, the goal for the Pike Central team was to be the first team in school history to make it to Rupp Arena. Unfortunately, the Hawks fell short in the Regional Tournament but the outlook is bright for the 2024-2025 season.

Hall continues to be optimistic in his role for Pike Central in the upcoming season. Hall’s ambition to play at the next level continues to drive him. It is Hall’s defensive ability that makes him an intriguing next level talent.

The potential to be special is before Grant. His ceiling is tremendous and I’m hyped to track this young star for the next few years. It’s gonna be quite a journey.
