The Logan Wildcats (11-9) got a nice win on Friday as they picked up a 60-47 win at home over Sissonville (11-10) at Willie Akers Arena.
After Sissonville held a slim 12-11 lead after the first quarter, Logan stormed back in the second period to take a 34-23 lead at the intermission. The Wildcats maintained their lead in the third period and held a 47-37 advantage into the final quarter. Logan was able to hold on from there.
Cole Blankenship led the way for the Wildcats with 25 points. Julius Clancy followed with 16 points. Matt Hatfield added 8 points. Ivan Miller netted 5 points. McCormick Ilderton, Zayden Sherod and Gage Green scored 2 points each.
The Wildcats will next play on Wednesday when they travel to Lincoln County.
