The Wayne Lady Pioneers moved to 17-1 as they hammered visiting Herbert Hoover, 58-12, on Monday out Wayne.
Brooke Adkins paced the Lady Pioneers with 13 points. Jayce Sammons followed with 10 points. Addie Adkins fired in 8 points. Mikayla Stacy recorded 7 points. Laneigh Brooks tallied 6 points Braylee Ramey had 4 points. Shelby Anderson added 3 points. Kinley Runyon and Lexi Blankenship chipped in with 2 points each. Alexa Bishop finished with 1 point.
Wayne is currently ranked second in Class AAA, trailing only undefeated East Fairmont.
The Lady Pioneers will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to 10th ranked Sissonville. The opening tip is set for 7 pm.
