Rigdon’s 34 Points Help Hawks Complete Comeback Win At Paintsville

Jaylan Rigdon scored 34 points to help the Pike County Central Hawks erase a 20-point halftime deficit to defeat the home standing Paintsville Tigers, 66-57, on Tuesday.

Rigdon’s 34 points and 7 rebounds paced the Hawks’ attack. Jaden Stewart followed with 22 points. Grant Hall, Blake Adams, Kaden Crum, Brad BIliter and Peyton Owens finished with 2 points each.

Paintsville (8-6) was led by Brook Woods with 16 points. Ethan Cole and Anderson Lauffer followed with 14 points each. Jase Kinner and Parker Helton scored 5 points apiece. Ethan Ward chipped in 3 points.

The Hawks (7-7) will host Magoffin County on Friday at 7:30 pm. The Tigers will face Prestonsburg in the 15th Region All A Classic tournament on Thursday at Appalachian Wireless Arena in Pikeville.
