The Phelps Lady Hornets moved to 10-2 on the season as they downed visiting Hurley, VA on Tuesday, 52-38.
Sophomore Caleigh McCoy led the way with 28 points and 6 rebounds. 8th grader Kaylyn Slone had 8 points and pulled down 8 rebounds. Kylea Weddington scored 6 points and snagged 10 rebounds. Bailey Norman fired in 5 points and pulled down 3 rebounds. Faith Potter and Aerionna Pigman scored 2 points and grabbed 8 rebounds each. Madison Dotson finished with 1 point and 6 rebounds.
The Lady Hornets will next play at Cordia on Thursday at 7:30 pm. There will only be a varsity game.
