In their second game in the Carolina Invitational, the Chapmanville Regional Lady Tigers cruised to an easy 73-31 victory.
Daizi Farley and Alaria Evans led the way for the Lady Tigers. Head Coach Kristina Gore said shooting well from the outside was the key for the easy victory, “For the first time this season, we shot the basketball like we are capable. Daizi has really struggled from three this year, and a lot of that has to do with the pain she’s been in with her lower body. Hips, groin, knee, you name it. She’s been really banged up. She’s been working hard on decreasing the movement prior to her release to stay more balanced and it’s really paying off.”
Evans finished with a game-high 23 points along with 7 rebounds. Farley finished with 22 points. Brooke Christian added 10 points in the victory. Jaycee Blair finished with 9 points, and point guard Haley Fleming dished out 8 assists.
With the win, the Lady Tigers moved to 4-4 on the season.
