The Westside Renegades moved to 2-1 on the season with an 84-33 win over visiting Liberty-Raleigh on Wednesday.
The Renegades took a 20-5 lead after the first period. That advantage grew to 40-12 at the half. Westside was able to cruise from there.
Austin Bishop led the way for Westside with 24 points, including 6 baskets from behind the 3-point line. Bishop now has 12 3-point field goals this season. Coltin Lester followed with 13 points. Brayden French fired in 11 points. Bryson Blankenship returned from injury to make his season debut with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Kadien Vance, Kyler Kenneda and Jacob Mullins each scored 5 points. Braxton Waldron, Ethan Walls, Braydin Bishop and Tyler Colegrove finished with 2 points apiece.
Westside will next host Mingo Central on Friday at 7:30 pm.
