The Phelps Lady Hornets moved their record to 7-1 on the season as they picked up a hard fought 48-43 win at Magoffin County on Thursday.
Caleigh McCoy led the way with 20 points. Kylea Weddington followed with 13 points. Kaylyn Slone fired in 7 points. Faith Potter and Aerionna Pigman finished with 4 points each.
Phelps will next play on Saturday in the Big H BBQ Christmas Bash in Cherokee, TN.
Magoffin County will play Clay County on Wednesday in the Hyden Citizens Bank Classic at Leslie County.
