The Phelps Lady Hornets improved to 6-1 on the season with a 61-47 win at East Ridge on Tuesday.
Kylea Weddington led the way with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Caleigh McCoy followed with 17 points and 3 rebounds. Faith Potter scored 11 points and pulled down 6 boards. Kaylyn Slone had 10 points and snagged 7 rebounds. Charity Mounts fired in 4 points.
For East Ridge (2-3), Kourtlee Keene had 21 points. Olivia Stanley followed with 17 points. Breonna Tackett dropped in 7 points. Kailey Gibson finished with 2 points.
The Lady Hornets will play at Magoffin County on Thursday at 7 pm.
East Ridge will play at June Buchanan on Friday at 6 pm.
