The Betsy Layne Bobcats moved to 4-3 on the season with a 78-70 win at Martin County on Tuesday.
Andrew Kidd led the way for Betsy Layne with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Cameron Pente fired in 15 points. Carter Parsons followed with 13 points. Grayson Hall dropped in 10 points. Tanner Martin scored 8 points. Isaiah Allen added 7 points. Tanner Hall finished with 2 points.
For Martin County (2-3), Jacob Sturgell set the pace with 25 points. Dray Duff followed with 19 points. Peyton Davis added 8 points. Luke Hale fired in 7 points. Brayden McKenzie scored 6 points. Devan Maynard had 3 points. Bryson Dials finished with 2 points.
Martin County will next play on Friday at Chapmanville in the Country Roads Shootout. The Cardinals will take on South Charleston at 8 pm.
Betsy Layne will play on Friday at Floyd Central. The opening tip is set for 7:30 pm.
