The Westside Lady Renegades came up short on Thursday, falling to the Pikeview Lady Panthers, 46-42, at Pikeview High School.
The Lady Renegades (1-3) fell behind 12-10 after the first period and then 23-17 at the intermission. Pikeview’s lead grew to 34-26 after three quarters. Westside cut into the lead in the final quarter but came up just short.
Kaitlyn Lester led the way for Westside with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Sarah Lilly followed with 13 points. Kenzie Morgan netted 5 points. Rylee Brown and Daisha Cline each scored 4 points. Cline also pulled down 8 rebounds.
Westside will next host Mount View on Monday. The opening tip is set for 6 pm.
