The Phelps Lady Hornets moved to 5-0 on the season as they defeated the Jenkins Lady Cavaliers, 68-37, on Wednesday in Phelps.
Caleigh McCoy led the way with 20 points. Kylea Weddington followed with 16 points. For their efforts, McCoy and Weddington were named the Mingua Beef Jerky Co-Players of the Game. Charity Mounts added 15 points. Bailey Norman added 8 points. Kaylyn Slone dropped in 4 points. Faith Potter scored 3 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Aerionna Pigman finished with 2 points.
Phelps will next play on Friday in a 7:30 pm clash at Pike County Central.
Jenkins will next host Cordia on December 14 at 6 pm.
