The Phelps Lady Hornets moved to 2-0 on the season with a 50-39 win over host Twin Valley on Friday in the Hoopalachia Hardwood Classic.
Caleigh McCoy led Phelps with 24 points and 3 steals. McCoy was 5-of-9 on 3-point attempts during the game. Kylea Weddington followed with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Kaylyn Slone, Faith Potter, Aerionna Pigman and Madison Dotson had 2 points each. Bailey Norman finished with 1 point.
Phelps will next play on Saturday at 4:30 pm in the Hoopalachia Hardwood Classic in a game against Cornerstone Christian Academy, TN.
