The Tug Valley Lady Panthers jumped out of the gate early and never looked back as the rolled past Cross Lanes Christian, 60-23, on Thursday in Naugatuck.
Tug Valley wasted no time jumping out early, hammering Cross Lanes Christian from the opening tip and taking a 21-2 lead after the first period. The advantage grew to 33-12 at the intermission.
The lead grew to 52-15 after the third quarter. The Lady Panthers coasted from there.
Bailee Hall led the way for Tug Valley with 20 points. Kenzie Browning followed with 12 points. Haven Deskins fired in 10 points. Katelynn Richardson followed with 6 points. Brooke Spaulding and Riley Porter had 4 points each. Mindi Dearnell and Maria Pilkins finished with 2 points apiece.
Tug Valley will next play on Monday when they travel to Man for a 7 pm clash.
