Former Johnson Central star and current University of Kentucky offensive lineman Grant Bingham announced is decision to enter the transfer portal on Tuesday via social media.
Bingham, a 6’5″ and 321 pound offensive lineman, was considered at Top-300 college prospect in the country coming out of high school. He chose Kentucky over Notre Dame, Michigan and Miami.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for allowing me to do what I love and being with me on this journey,” said Bingham on X (formerly Twitter).

Thank you to all of my coaches that gave me the opportunity to learn and prosper and become the man and player I am today.
To my teammates, I will cherish the time we had together.
With that being said I will be entering the transfer portal with 3 Years of eligibility. Thank you to everyone for their support and understanding.”
The former 4-star recruit will be a huge name in the transfer portal and have a lot of teams interested.
