Senior softball standout Laney Bledsoe has transferred from Paintsville to Magoffin County and is eligible to compete for the Lady Hornets.
Last season, Bledsoe was 9-15 in the pitcher’s circle with a 3.31 ERA and 153 strikeouts in 158.2 innings pitched. She was also dangerous at the plate, batting .330 with 1 home run, 15 doubles, 21 RBI and 32 runs scored.
Bledsoe joins a strong Magoffin County team that finished 17-12 last season. She’ll provide both a great arm and bat for the Lady Hornets.
In addition to her exploits on the diamond, Bledsoe will be on the Magoffin County dance team. I’m sure everyone at Magoffin County is thrilled to have her.
