West Virginia Playoff Preview: Hillbillies Try To Slay Dragons

The 9th seed (Class A) Man Hillbillies hit the road to play at the 8th seed Cameron Dragons in the opening round of the playoffs on Saturday.

The Hillbillies (7-3) have played one of the toughest schedules in Class A. Devon Sanders will look to rebound after a tough outing against Chapmanville last week. Sanders had two touchdown passes against Tug Valley the previous week, including a 65-yard pass to Trey Ward in the final minute to win that game.

Ward also shined two weeks ago with two catches for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ward also returned a kick for a score.

Lukas Haney and Dusten Baisden will also look to have big roles on offense at Cameron.

The Dragons (9-1) have won nine games in a row after losing their first game of the season. Cameron has one of the highest scoring offenses in the state and will post a strong test for the Man defense.

The opening kick is set for 1:30 pm on Saturday in Cameron.
