The top ranked Roane County Raiders flexed their muscle as they defeated the 6th ranked Mingo Central Miners, 25-0, on Friday on Miner Mountain.
Mingo Central (6-2) struggled against the Raiders’ (8-0) defense, picking up only 99 yards.
Chris Ross completed 4-of-14 passes for 23 yards and 2 interceptions.
Dylan Vance had 12 carries for 59 yards.
Deucey Prater had 1 catch for 14 yards. Aidan Burke caught 2 passes for 6 yards. Malaki Sheppard had 1 reception for 3 yards.
For Roane County, Brandon Richardson had 16 carries for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Miners will play on Friday when they travel to Chapmanville for a 7 pm match up.
