The Harts Middle School Lions have clinched the #1 Seed in the Lincoln-Boone Middle School Conference Tournament, as well as bragging rights in Lincoln County as the regular season champion. The Lions last game was on October 10th as they defeated Burch 38-6 in Harts, WV.
In the game on the 10th, Harts Quarterback Archer Altizer was 7 for 12 passing for 113 yards and 1 TD. He also added 5 carries for 31 yards. Levi Riffe had 2 carries for 93 yards and a TD. Easton Bender had one catch for 51 yards and a TD. Kayson Harless added 7 carries for 69 yards and a TD along with 1 catch for 7 yards. Dylan Farmer had one rush for 32 yards and a TD and added one catch for 23 yards. Kyler Blair had one catch for 19 yards and carried the ball twice for 17 yards. Alex Hatfield had 5 rush attempts for 27 yards and a TD. Ronald Ellis had one rush for 3 yards and scored a two point conversion and Easton Critchley added 4 rushes for 29 yards.
Eli Sperry led the Lions defense with 11 solo tackles, 3 assisted tackles, and 2 sacks. Jaxon Vance and Levi Riffe both had interceptions in the win.
Harts will face the winner of Guyan Valley and Van. Harts defeated Guyan Valley 14-12 earlier in the season, and if they should meet again, it should be another fantastic matchup.
