Paintsville junior Olivia Maynard had quite a week. In fact, the Lady Tiger star had the best week of any volleyball player in Kentucky as she was named the MaxPreps/AVCA Kentucky Player of the Week.
Maynard led Paintsville (25-8) picked up three big wins this week. Overall, Maynard had 55 kills, 3 blocks, 28 digs and 8 aces this week.
“Olivia Maynard may be the best volleyball prospect in the mountains of eastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia,” said D&D Sports Network Co-Owner Darryl McCoy. “It’s a huge honor to be named the MaxPreps/AVCA Kentucky Player of the Week.”
Through the regular season, Maynard has 393 kills, 31 blocks, 14 assists, 258 digs and 67 aces.
