It’s no secret to the success for the Russell Red Devils, quarterback Ethan Pack has been outstanding this season. The dual threat quarterback ran for 143 yards rushing and 1 TD last week against West Carter. The week before that, against Fleming County, Pack would rush for 149 yards and 2 TDs while throwing for 118 yards and 1 TD. Pack would continue his dominance this week for the Red Devils in their 38-14 victory over the Lions of Lewis County.
Pack would complete 9 of 16 passes for 244 yards and 3 TDs through the air. He would also have 5 rushes for 43 yards and 1 TD on the ground.
Pack would connect with Caden Pennington 2 times for 74 yards and 1 TD. Haiden Anderson would have 2 receptions for 72 yards. Parker Mitchell would be on the receiving end of 1 pass for a 49-yard touchdown. Noah McDaniels would also have 1 reception for 15 yards and a TD.
Elijah Hankins would carry the ball 8 times for 30 yards and 1 touchdown in the win. Ben Totten would have 6 carries for 25 yards.
Ayden Cooper would lead the way offensively for the Lions of Lewis County. He would complete 16 of 35 passes for 199 yards and 2 touchdowns. However, Cooper would also throw 2 interceptions.
Julian Puente would have 9 receptions for 131 yards. Noah Johnson had 2 receptions for 27 yards and 1 touchdown. Alex Russell would have 2 receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown.
Lewis County (2-5) will travel to East Carter (5-2) this coming Friday, Oct. 13th. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
