The 3rd-ranked (Class AA) Scott Skyhawks will look to remain undefeated on Friday when they travel to Logan to take on the Wildcats.
Scott (6-0) is led by star quarterback Matt Frye. This season, Frye has completed 91-of-132 passes for 1,976 yards, 23 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He has also carried the ball 24 times for 177 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Preston Cooper is the Skyhawks’ leading rusher with 595 yards and 7 touchdowns on 69 carries.
Carson Brinegar is the team’s leading receiver with 695 yards and 8 touchdowns on 35 catches. Brayden Clark has 610 yards and 5 touchdowns on 22 catches. Isaiah Bush has 23 catches for 446 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Logan (1-4) will have Adam Baisden leading the offense. Baisden has completed 66-of-119 passes for 900 yards, 7 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He also has 25 carries for 115 yards and 1 touchdown.
Caden Justice leads all Wildcat receivers with 19 catches for 336 yards and 4 touchdowns. Rylee Jones, Julius Clancy and Chase Hatfield each are capable of making big catches in the receiving game.
This should be a fun match up of local rivals. The opening kick is set for 7 pm in Logan.
