The Betsy Layne Bobcats will look to keep their undefeated record intact when they host the Prestonsburg Blackcats on Friday.
Betsy Layne (5-0) is led by quarterback Carter Parsons. So far this season Parsons has completed 45-of-76 passes for 847 yards, 9 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He has also rushed 34 times for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Andrew McCutcheon leads the Bobcats in rushing with 695 yards and 12 touchdowns on 79 rushing attempts. Isaiah Allen is the team’s leading receiver with 18 catches for 330 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Prestonsburg (4-1) is led by ground game with Jacob Rose leading the way. So far, Rose has 744 yards and 8 touchdowns on 99 carries.
Dalton Elliott has been another huge weapon for the Blackcats. So far, he has 302 yards and 6 touchdowns on 32 carries while also hauling in 20 passes for 218 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Bryce Holbrook runs the Blackcat offense at quarterback. Holbrook has completed 46-of-77 passes for 414 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
This will be a huge contest that will make a big impact on the direction of both teams. The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm.
