The Betsy Layne Bobcats moved to 5-0 on the season as they rolled past the Floyd Central Jaguars, 41-8 on Friday at Betsy Layne.
Carter Parsons led the way for the Bobcats, completing 10-of-19 passes for 214 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. He also rushed for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns on 12 rushing attempts.
Andrew McCutcheon finished with 182 yards and 2 touchdowns on 25 carries. Landon Howell had 2 carries for 40 yards. Eric Hoggard added 10 yards and 1 touchdown on 2 carries. Ryan Bradford had 1 carry for 3 yards.
Dylon Williams had 3 catches for 95 yards. Isaiah Allen had 78 yards on 4 catches. Andrew Kidd caught 1 pass for 21 yards. Howell had 2 catches for 20 yards and 1 touchdown.
For Floyd Central (3-2), Colt Shelton completed 5-of-12 passes for 60 yards and 4 interceptions.
BJ Peterson had 14 carries for 89 yards and 1 touchdown. Drake Pryor added 17 yards and 4 rushing attempts.
Marvin McDonald caught 2 passes for 25 yards. Pryor had 1 catch for 15 yards. Brody Buck tallied 14 yards on 1 catch. Jacob Johnson added 6 yards on 1 reception.
Betsy Layne will host Prestonsburg on Friday at 7:30 pm.
Floyd Central will next host Pike County Central on Friday at 7:30 pm.
